The condenser on this page is used on a boiler of a very small volume (5 liter) and on a glass erlenmeyer. The glass erlenmeyer has a capacity of 2 liters and I use it mainly for extraction of essences (juniper berries etc.) or as a test bench. I would rather experiment with distillation on a small scale, than have to re-distill a batch of a larger volume.

The hole in the rubber stop can be enlarged easily by freezing the stop solid - prior to drilling a larger hole using a standard wood drill. |
